Bill Daniel
Executive Director
William Daniel is the Executive Director of LTCPA. Bill possesses over 30 years experience in the areas of sales, marketing, government relations, operations and management in the health care arena. Early in his career, Bill oversaw the operations of the largest lab division of General Medical, a medical supplies company, and then transitioned into a leadership position in sales at Technicon Instruments. Bill later served in various leadership positions at two of the top medical technology companies in the world, Bayer Corporation and Roche Diagnostics. While at Roche, Bill became the National Director of Corporate Accounts, managing the company’s entire sales and marketing portfolio of diagnostics products to the federal government. Under his leadership, the Federal government became the largest customer of Roche Diagnostics in the U.S.
After nine years leading the company’s strategy with respect to the federal government, Bill became Director of Federal Government Affairs for Roche Diagnostics Corporation. In this role, Bill coordinated the federal relations strategies for the company’s five diagnostics divisions. One of his greatest achievements was driving a national advocacy campaign that successfully blocked efforts by the U.S. Departments of Health & Human Services and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs to implement utilization restrictions and decrease access to glucose monitoring technologies for individuals in the V.A..
Bill joined LTCPA in February of 2009. He is married with 2 daughters and resides in Annapolis, Maryland.
